After successful application, you will be asked to pay a deposit, which is non-refundable (unless
otherwise stated). You will be asked to pay your final payment wherever applicable which once
paid is also non-refundable. Decision of the project organizer is to be held final as staffing of the
course and accommodation involve fixed costs that are paid advance and are non-reversible.
The college cannot guarantee to replace course members who subsequently drop out.
If for any reason, you wish to subsequently cancel your place on the course after your part or
full fees (i.e. deposit plus balance) have been paid, Asian College of Teachers cannot provide
any refund except for exceptional circumstances. The course organizer's decision is final. In any
case, the deposit is non-refundable. The reason for this is that the staffing for the course and
accommodation have fixed costs which have to be paid for in advance and based on a specific
number of course members in the group..
As part of our pre-screening process, applicants are requested to submit an account of their
personal history and background and of their motives for joining the course, as well as their
future aspirations. Inaccuracies or fraudulent claims in the application are grounds for dismissal
from the course.
Once an assignment has been graded/ credit has already been earned, it cannot be re-done for
improving Grades/ Credits. If an assignment has to be redone then you will be informed by your
coordinator.
Asian College of Teachers is a private autonomous organization and has no accreditation and
connection with the Ministry of Education or any other Governmental body in any country.
ACT is not accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education.
Note: In the United States, many licensing authorities require accredited degrees as the basis
for eligibility for licensing.
